Sea Asia 2013 ended with a record breaking attendance
The 2013 event ended on a high note with a clutch of records broken underlining this as Asia’s leading maritime conference and exhibition, attended by over 13,000 participants from over 68 countries. Sea Asia has doubled in size from the inaugural event in 2007, continuing its claim to be the fastest growing maritime event in the region. The exhibition occupied almost 17,000 sqm of gross space at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, featuring 385 maritime businesses from 36 countries. The number of conference delegates totalled at around 700 over three days from 39 countries, vindicating the need for the 'Voice of Asian shipping' on an international platform. The figures are a clear reflection that Sea Asia is one of the must-attend maritime events in the global maritime calendar.
