About the Artist
Mr Chung Chee Kit is a maritime artist whose love of the subject grew from his long career in the maritime industry. Mr Chung graduated in Naval Architecture from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and holds an MBA from the Harvard School.  He served in senior management positions in several major shipyards and shipping companies, including the Keppel Corporation and IMC Shipping.  His long career spanned several maritime sectors, including shiprepair, shipbuilding, shipowning, ship management, and port infrastructure development.  Recently retired, Mr Chung now concentrates in the promotion of Asian maritime culture and maritime art.  He has held a number of exhibitions, and many of his paintings now hang in the offices of Singaporean shipyards and shipping companies.
