Seatrade Asia Online Competition

David Wong of DNV Petroleum Services disproved the old saying “You only get what you pay for!” when he won a snazzy 2 GB iPod at Sea Asia for correctly identifying June 2006 as the start date for the free, fully searchable archive on daily news website www.seatrade-asia-online.com.

“I’ve never won anything before in my life!” exclaimed Mr Wong, PR and marketing manager for the Singapore branch of the Norwegian firm. “Everyone at the [DNV] stand is going to be so jealous!”

Andrew Callaghan, Seatrade sales director, picked Mr Wong’s card out of the 100+ entries on Wednesday 4 April. Visitors were encouraged to check the answer by visiting the website at the Internet Café sponsored by AXS Marine.

SeatradeAsia-Online features daily news stories spanning the Asian markets ‘from Suez to Sakhalin’. The service is unique in that it is completely free of charge.
